Payments Information Circle is a new company which focuses on financial institutions, the vendors who serve them and the companies who are their customers. Our mission is to be a payments information resource for financial industry members through networking, education and consulting.

With the introduction of Check 21, Remote Deposit Capture, new ACH products for converting checks, ATM imaging, decoupled debit cards, and the increases in stored value card/debit card use, the world of electronic payments has forever changed. Payments have, by necessity, become a part of a financial institution’s strategy in order to compete with other organizations, both financial institutions and non-banks, next door and across the country. Without accurate information on the big picture, and the details on all your various options, how can you make informed decisions on your organization’s payments strategy?

Regulatory agencies are also struggling to keep up with the constant changes. Do you have the expertise in-house to determine the impact of the new regulatory requirements from the FFIEC, OCC, NACHA, FDIC, and the Federal Reserve Bank Board of Governors upon your organization and to train your staff on the changes that need to be made to your internal processes?
